Jennifer Cole’s passion has always been for the arts and color and design of personal spaces.

Introduced to the optometric world at the age of 16, Jennifer combined her passion for art with eyewear.  Inspired by European renowned eyewear artist Alain Mikli, Jennifer chose to make a career of enhancing individual’s visual experience through artistic eyewear. Jennifer was educated in all aspects of opticianry through an optometric technology degree from Indiana University.

Lens color and design became her outlet to create artistic eyewear.  Enjoying the challenge of hard to fit lens prescriptions, Jennifer understood lifestyle visual needs could only be improved if proper measurements and fit were combined with superior lens technology.

Desiring to bring a new concept of true luxury eyewear to the community, Glance was introduced in 2001 providing limited edition and luxury eyewear for men and women.  Glance criterion would be simple.  Select impeccable European eyewear and provide a high degree of customer service.   Combining high fashion and flawless lens design would equal exceptional eyewear.  Ten years later Glance has elevated eyewear from simply being functional to becoming a fashion statement.

Academic rotation at Indiana University provided Jennifer experience to provide optical services for underprivileged children.  Desiring to continually give back,  Jennifer created and co founded Della Donne’, benefitting Spirit of Women; Co Founded Project Double Vision providing eyewear to guests of St Margaret’s House and Center for the Homeless and Co Founded Sunglasses for Solders sending sunglasses to those serving in Iraq.
